Class Descriptions

A joyful introduction to the world of dance! This class focuses on developing coordination, musicality, and a love of movement through creative play, simple ballet exercises, and imaginative activities. Students will explore space, rhythm, and basic ballet positions in a nurturing environment that encourages self-expression and confidence.

Primary builds on the foundations of creative movement with an introduction to formal ballet vocabulary. Students will develop body awareness, balance, and musicality while continuing to foster creativity and a joy in movement. Classes emphasize correct posture, basic ballet technique, and classroom etiquette in a positive and supportive setting.

Our graded ballet program (Levels 1-8) offers a comprehensive curriculum designed to develop classical ballet technique, strength, flexibility, and artistry. Each level builds progressively, with an increased focus on alignment, coordination, musical phrasing, and performance quality. Students will be placed in levels appropriate to their skill, maturity, and physical development, ensuring personalized attention and growth.

  • Levels 1-2: Introduction to structured ballet classes with emphasis on foundational technique.
  • Levels 3-4: Expansion of vocabulary, barre and center work, and preparation for pre-pointe.
  • Levels 5-6: Intermediate technique with pointe readiness, focus on precision and expression.
  • Levels 7-8: Advanced training emphasizing technical proficiency, artistry, and performance readiness.

Our boys’ ballet class focuses on male ballet technique, centering on athleticism, agility, focus, and coordination. The curriculum builds foundational strength and core stability through targeted jumps and turns. We offer a supportive and nurturing environment.

Contemporary invites dancers of all backgrounds to explore expressive movement, floorwork, and improvisation. Rooted in modern dance techniques, this class blends lyrical, athletic, and abstract movement to foster creativity, physical awareness, and emotional connection. Dancers will work on fluidity, strength, and storytelling through movement.

Designed for dedicated students with a solid foundation in classical ballet, our open ballet classes work to refine technique, musicality, and artistry through challenging barre and center combinations. Dancers will work on developing strength, control, and fluidity, with a focus on clarity of movement, dynamic expression, and performance quality. Pointe work may be incorporated based on individual readiness. This class is ideal for students seeking to elevate their ballet technique in preparation for performances, auditions, or professional training programs.

A welcoming and supportive ballet class for adults of all levels, from absolute beginners to those returning to dance. This class focuses on developing strength, flexibility, and classical ballet technique at a comfortable pace. Modifications and challenges are offered to accommodate individual needs. Enjoy the beauty of ballet while improving posture, balance, and overall well-being.
